 St Mary's Tag Rugby 2011
After the success of the Mini-Olympics last year, St Mary's Church hosted its 3rd children's sports event last Saturday 16th July 2011; St Mary's Tag-Rugby. Children from 7-9 & 10-14 took part in a tag-rugby league competition, which promoted the spirit of togetherness and friendship as we played our sports contest. Everyone was a wining participant at the sports event and all contestants received a rugby medal; however, the two teams that won each of the leagues, Barbados & The Galapagos Islands, lifted the St Mary's Sports Cup wearing their gold medals.....
The day was packed full of fun, laughter and a great celebration lunch... and not even the rain put us off.....!
