 CHANGES IN OUR OFFICE: I am sorry to say that at the end of school term, Elizabeth Manco will be giving up her job as our Parish Administrator. She has been with us for 20 months and had certainly become part of the fittings. We shall miss her presence day by day but will still see her playing a part in parish activities and Sunday Mass.

Canon Stuart (the Chair of Governors) congratulates Jeff Steel (Chaplain) at St Thomas More Language College.
After a successful year at the College, Jeff has been selected by Archbishop Vincent Nichols to begin training for the Priesthood at Allan Hall Seminary. He will begin in September.

BRING ON THE GREETERS: The Pastoral Council on Wednesday planned how to use our Greeters more effectively. Ken Craig has agreed to co-ordinate them and soon there will be a rota. The innovation at 10am will be the instruction of a Family to act as welcomers and greeters. This week the "star" role is given to the Manco family. We thank them and invite many other families to think about doing this work for the good of the community

 June 20 2010: The Canon writes: WELCOME TO OUR SUMMER SEMINARIAN: Lorenzo Andreini has arrived in our parish for a month. Lorenzo is coming to sample parish life to help him grow in experience. Originally from
Rome, Lorenzo has been in training with Neocatechumenal Way at the Redemptorist House of Formation in
Marylebone for some years as well as receiving training at our Seminary in Chelsea. He brings a knowledge
and a commitment to the faith which will be good for us. I hope he will go away with a sense that our parish is energised by a love for the Lord and his Church.

St Mary’s is pleased to
welcome Bishop Peter Elliott, one the auxiliaries of Melbourne Diocese Australia. He has been helping with
