Lent Services 2012
LENT LEAFLET: There is a Lenten leaflet available in the Church and for download below. Please take one and study it with prayerful care and respond. There are a lot of things to do in Lent. If everyone does something, then our
parish Lent will be truly wonderful.

ASH WEDNESDAY: Begin Lent well. There are four Masses: 9am (school attends), 12 noon, 2pm (school attends) and 6.30pm. Receive the Holy Sign of Ashes on your forehead as a mark of your willingness to undertake the disciplines of Lent for the love of God.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS: It would be lovely to have a good crowd for these.
The children have their
Stations at 3:45 pm on Wednesdays.
For the rest of us Stations are on Friday at 7.00pm
PRAYER BEFORE THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: Every Wednesday from 11am – 12 noon and from 5.30pm – 6.30pm the Blessed Sacrament is exposed for adoration. Come and spend some time with the Lord.
The Church is open everyday from 8am until 7pm.
SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION: Why not keep a good Lent by making your confession? A priest will be available on the following days:
Wednesday 6pm – 6.20pm
Saturday 10.30am – 11am
5.45pm – 6.15pm
Sunday 6pm – 6.20pm
FAITH SHARING GROUPS: On Sundays from 7.30pm you are invited to join one of the priests in the Rectory’s St Thomas More Room as we study the “Saints – Helping us Today” DVD course.
The planned Tuesday 10.30am Group has been combined with the Sunday group.
