Deacon Lorenzo Andreini

On June 18th, at our Cathedral, amongst others, Lorenzo Andreini was ordained a deacon. Some of the parish were there to support him and I was privileged to be asked to clothe him in his Dalmatic. On Sunday 19th June, at Mass, he acted as Deacon for the first time in the parish and I know you will be as happy as his parents who stayed with us this weekend. Sadly this Sunday is the last one that we shall have Deacon Lorenzo around the place. His ordination marks the end of his year with us. For Fr George and myself it has been a joy to have him about the place. He is a calm and strong presence in everything he does and I know he will be the same in his new parish of Our Lady and St Joseph, Kingsland E8.
